This program develops skills necessary for repairing and refinishing interior and exterior components of conventional and unitized body vehicles. All aspects of automotive refinishing, collision repair, major collision rebuilding, frame straightening and unibody repair are presented. Learn the basics of metal shrinking, basic oxy-fuel and MIG welding, panel replacement, filler applications and rough out methods. Final refinishing procedures include painting, color sanding, machine polishing/buffing and pinstriping. Includes a 10-hour OSHA Safety Program. Books additional (appox. cost $150).
